Kira is now six months old! How has half a year already gone by? It is amazing how quickly things go with number 2! We had her well baby check today and she has gained 2lbs in the last 2 months, so for her that is HUGE! She now weighs 13lbs 5oz and is in the 7th percentile and is 25 3/4 inches and is in the 52% for height. Her head circumference is 16 1/2, which is 36%. As far as her milestones this month go, she has two teeth, sits up pretty independently, goes from sitting to her tummy and is moving around in an inch worm way to get to where she wants to go. I think she will be crawling in another couple months. She has tried rice cereal, oatmeal, carrots and sweet potatoes and liked them all. She grabs for everything and it goes straight to the mouth. She is still not sleeping through the night and at this point coffee is my best friend. Kira is very aware of people and animals now, as well. She loves our dog and cat and they are really tolerant of her. There have started to be some cute interactions between her and Nathan these days too.
