14-months= full fledge toddlerhood

Nathan is 14 months today. We have officially left infancy behind and there is no turning back. Day to day is a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, amazing highs and frustrating lows. Nathan is saying some pretty funny things these days. A few examples:

us: "Nathan what does a kitty say?"
him: "Mwua Mwua" (read: meow meow)

us: "Nathan, what does a motorcycle say?"
him: "mummm mummmm"

us: "Nathan, get your shoes so we can go outside."
him: as he bring us his shoes "shiz shiz, ausize" (read: shoes, shoes, outside)

other fun words: brush (while brushing teeth), push (while pusing the button to open the garage door) door (when opening and closing)

He is saying new fun things every day.

Now for the lows. Tantrums....this kid can throw a tantrum. Wonder where he gets that (certainly not from his mother...wink wink). The hardest part about it is he laughs when you try to discipline him. Well, it is so hard not to laugh when he's laughing, but we are learning. Nathan has also decided that he doesn't like certain foods. Meal time is becoming oh so fun. Suddenly avacado, chicken, any veggie, etc. etc. is more fun to spit out and throw then actually consume. Lovely!!!

Wouldn't trade who he is becoming for the world though. It is so fun to watch him soak up the world and make sense of it.
