At the Airport in San Jose

Our last day in CR was spent having breakfast at Jungle Surf Cafe, a quick swim in the pool and then packing up and driving to San Jose to fly home. We spent the night in SJ and then headed to the airport in the morning. There was guy playing the guitar at our gate and Nathan was putting on a show for everyone by dancing. The guy was really sweet and sat Nathan on the chair and let him play the guitar. It was really sweet. The flight home was difficult. Nathan did not want to sleep much and wanted to be down and about. The only thing that kept him happy for long periods of time was snacking, but you can't very well let a kid his size eat for 4 hours straight. Once we landed at LAX, we found that Brian's surfboard and our large suitcase weren't going to be in until 1.5 hours later. So once we got our bags and on the road it was almost 3 hours later. We finally got home to SD at 10:30. Nathan spent several hours napping yesterday and sleeping last night, so we are hoping he is caught up on his sleep. All in all it was a great trip and we can see ourselves going back again!
