Seaworld Fun!

We went to Seaworld with some friends today. Thought it was going to be a cold one, so we were a bit overdressed as the sun popped out and turned up the heat a bit, but we still managed to have some fun. Nathan enjoyed riding the rides in the bay of play with his buddy Braydon and his parents, while I stayed back and watched Braydon's baby brother Isaac. We looked at the aquariums with Sydney and Nathaniel and pet the sea stars and star fish in the tide pools. Nathan could seriously stay at the Bay of Play all day long. We had pictures with Elmo, Zoe, Burt and Ernie from Sesame street and then ended our day with a look at the penguins. We didn't even see Shamu today. Oh well, it was still a great time with our friends.

Loving the Water

Nathan went through a phase starting in the fall where he really hated the water. He would scream the entire 30 minutes of swimming lessons. We switched to a new place where the water is significantly warmer, as we thought that might be the cause of his resistance. It took a few lessons and then he really started to come around. He has now been there almost 6 months and he is back to enjoying being the pool. The best part is he is now able to go in with either of us, where before he wouldn't go near the water if mommy wasn't with him. We can't wait for the day when he can go in the water without us!
