2-Month Well Baby Visit

We took Nate to meet his actual pediatrician today (he has seen 4 different ones sine birth, but never his actual assigned provider). Anyway, our little fat man weighed in at a whopping 13lbs 9oz...but he had just eaten before we picked him up from daycare. He is in the 90th percentile for weight. He is 24 1/4 inches, so he has grown almost 3 inches in two months and is in the 75th percentile for height. We got ourselves a big baby!!!

Nate handled his immunizations like a champ. He had an oral rotovirus vaccine and four shots. He cried for maybe thirty seconds and then was calm. We have been home for 2 hours and he has not been fussy at all.

Mexico Mother's Day

Nathan enjoyed his second trip to Mexico. It was a great way for Melissa to spend her first Mother's day. Today on the other hand is not so great... Nathan get's to go to the doctor to get his 2 month shots... 6 of them to be exact! The good part is, we'll be able to get him in the water soon. Daddy can't wait.

Nathan Meets Kory

We took Nathan over to meet his new friend Kory on the way out of town to Mexico. These two will be spending alot of time together in the future.

Happy 2 Month Birthday

Nathan is 2 months old today! We hit some milestones. Last night he had his longest stretch of sleep to date....7.5 hours!!! We are not holding our breaths that he will do this every night. I also woke up to find him sucking his thumb...not a milestone we want to see stick, but if it pacifies him until 6AM, then it works for now.

Silver Strand

Nate had another great day at daycare, Melissa is getting use to being back at work, and Dad enjoyed the afternoon getting a root canal (fun!). So it was a nice way to end the day by meeting the grandparents at Silver Strand. What a beautiful day.

8 Weeks Old

Today Nathan is 8 weeks old. He is starting to smile all the time and is discovering himself in the mirror and is now focusing much attention on his hands. It is hard to believe that 8 weeks have gone by and that mommy now has to return to work on Monday.
